Average Fees Charged

Hi, I just recently received my MIP licence and am unsure as to what fees I should be charging for general bookkeeping and VAT Returns etc.

    Bookkeepers generally charge £10 (very cheap) to £20 but as an accountant bookkeeping fees would probably start at £20 at the very minimum.

    VAT returns are hard to price unless you know how long they will take so I would give the client an idea/estimate for the first one and then for no 2 you'll have a good idea hopefully.

    £10 for bookkeeping? Where? When I worked as a freelance bookkeeper (years ago), I charged minimum £30 per hour. Now, I don't do hourly charge, just a flat fee per year that covers everything I can and/or will provide.
