Withdrawing from MIP

Hi,
I would like to withdraw from MIP scheme - what is the procedure? I paid the annual renewal fee GBP177 early in Jan '15 - would I be able to claim refund? This is because of me not have enough time to focus at practice as I have full time employment.
I notified the withdrawal by via email @ membershipsupport@aat.or.uk - is this correct?
