Level 3 and Level 4 Study Support Events in May

We are holding a series of study support events throughout the month of May for Level 3 and Level 4 students.

Saturday 2 May


Level 3 Cost and revenues – Kaplan Event, London

The tutor will guide the delegates through the case study, briefing and de-briefing the tasks within the case study. The case study will also focus on the following 4 key areas which students often struggle with both in the classroom and during assessments:

• Direct labour costs
• Overhead absorption/Costing principles
• Break-even (C-V-P) analysis
• Capital investment appraisal

This is a ticketed event and you must book your place in advance.


Level 3 Professional ethics – Kaplan Event, Bristol

The tutor will guide the delegates through the case study, briefing and de-briefing the tasks within the case study. The case study will also focus on the following 4 key areas which students often struggle with both in the classroom and during assessments:

• The Fundamental Principles
• The Legal and Ethical Framework
• Behaviour and safeguards
• Sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR)

This is a ticketed event and you must book your place in advance.


Level 4 Financial statements (1) – Kaplan, Leeds

The Financial Statements study support event is ideal for students studying for the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting. The aim of the event is to provide support to students who have already studied the unit and are in need of additional support on key topics allowing them to gain a deeper understanding and the opportunity to raise questions.

Study support session one will be in the form of a case study which covers the following computational areas of the syllabus:

• Draft statutory financial statements for a limited company
• Draft simple consolidated financial statements
• Calculate ratios

This is a ticketed event and you must book your place in advance.
