Hi I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience I have had. I was working in a school and unfortunately was dismissed for gross misconduct. The accusations were never founded in a court of law and subsequently was exonerated therefore have a clean DBS. My problem now is that I do not know what kind of reference my old employer will give me and whether this will impeed any hope of reentering into the work I so love. Having never done anything wrong I feel so badly done by. Please can anyone give me any advice on what to do.

Call CAB; though I am pretty sure they're not allowed to say anything other than 'Mr X worked here from Y date to Z date'0

Calling ACAS might be another option - I am not sure this is the right forum for your question though?0
