Passing BTAX exam by Jan'16

Hi!
I've done my 2nd attempt of BTAX last month, which I hope I have passed it.
I would like to know if BTAX is not passed by Jan'16 what does it means? that I will have to study the new syllabus? otherwise I fail the whole AAT LEVEL 4 ? So I'm confused!!
