This is a great opportunity for an AAT qualified or nearly qualified Finance Assistant looking for an opportunity to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be ambitious, quick to learn and keen to prove themselves in a fast & demanding environment.

Key Duties & responsibilities

- Assisting the Finance Manager with the production of the monthly accounts including posting accruals and prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

- Completing the monthly credit card statements and posting within the system

- Maintaining and administrating the Foreign Exchange invoicing process through a period of change

- Weekly cashflow forecasting

- VAT Returns and other HMRC submissions

- Maintenance of the petty cash

- Assisting with the other areas of finance as and when required

- Short Term – helping the Finance Manager with the implementation of & preparation for the new IT system

There is potential for the right candidate to start either CIMA or ACCA once they have settled into the role along side a competitive salary & good benefits package.
