Hi, does anyone think it is worthwhile to study the bookkeeping course just to make a start, instead of the Accounting course?

Yes, it is a low cost low risk entry point to the AAT. You dont have to pay the AAT subscription, and obviously any course will be cheaper. The passed you get would be exemptions from the main level 2 qualifications, so you havent lost anything,Nick Craggs FMAAT AATQB ACA, AAT Branch Member and Distance Learning Director at First Intuition

Thanks, Nick. I can actually get exemptions from level 3, but I need to update my knowledge first before I would even dream of starting level 3.0
