Question on Average AAT Salaries

So I've seen online, and today received by post, the charts for the 2015 AAT Salary Survey. I'm currently in my second year of AAT, studying Level 4, but as part of an apprenticeship. I note that on HMRC's website, I'm not technically classed as an apprentice in terms of pay any more because I've been studying over a year in the role. Would the averages from the Salary Survey be suitable for my position?
As I say, I work full-time, with a day off at college for AAT, and take on quite a lot of extra responsibility in a managerial-type role. However, my pay doesn't reflect this, nor comes close to the average as per the Salary Survey! Looking for any advice on how to approach this with my Director.
