Team Leader – Audit
G12 £41,139-£47,517

We are looking for an experienced, qualified and dynamic manager with a strong background in internal audit, counter fraud and investigations – your primary role will be to lead, plan and deliver the Council's Counter Fraud and Investigations service. The role will also require the delivery of complex audit, whistleblowing and conduct investigations, with emphasis on organisational learning, risk management and control within a challenging environment of change, innovation and cost reduction.

This role will support the Audit and Risk Manager in a customer focused, diverse, forward thinking and award winning Audit Team.

A high level of motivation is required at all levels with the ability to build and manage strong, positive, working relationships with clients, colleagues and Members.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and flexible members of the team, responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of audits but just as able to work on their own initiative. You will possess the appropriate experience, skills and qualifications, contributing to the continuous development of yourself and the team.
