AAT Apprenticeship / Trainee Accountant

We are currently seeking an individual looking to train as an accountant. Our ideal candidate would have already completed AAT Level 2 and have some bookkeeping experience. The role will however suit someone who is looking to or already studying the AAT at any level.

You will work in a modern, friendly and growing accountancy practice who put technology to its greatest use to assist staff and clients.

The role is for 32 hours over 5 days (10am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 10am – 2:30pm Fridays). Time will be spent at college on either a block release or day release basis. The normal working days/hours are negotiable.

You will be expected to perform the following duties:-

- Bookkeeping on a range of different software
- Payroll & CIS Returns
- VAT Returns
- Accounts preparation
- Management and organisation of clients and work to meet deadlines
- Preparation of Annual Returns
- Preparation of Withdrawal Statements
- General admin duties as required
