Financial Statements - Written questions tips

I had classroom studies for level 4, which I finished in December 2014. I have passed every exam apart from Financial Statements which I failed, unfortunately... I have only got around to retaking it now. I have been revising for the past couple of months and think I have nailed most of the calculations.
The only thing I'm having real trouble with are the written questions. It seems they could ask about almost anything in the book! Does anybody have tips on how to tackle the written questions?
And also, is there anywhere else I can get online practice papers to try? It seems the AAT website only has two!
