Can you recommend a course

Hi, I'm looking to do AAT Level 4 in the Milton Keynes area. Has anyone done the course at Milton Keynes College, Bletchley Campus? It is SO much cheaper than the others and I'm wondering if it's cheap because it's rubbish.

Hi. I did levels 2 and 3 at MK College in 2012-14. It was taught then at Chaffron Way campus, and I believe all the teaching staff are different now so I can't comment on that.

Anyway, at the end of level 3 there was discussion in the class and the majority decision steered which 2 optional modules would be taught at level 4. So if you're not already studying there I would check whether the modules you want to take are on offer first.

I decided to change to Kaplan for level 4. There was a difference in price, but all text books and learning materials were included, (I don't think books are included at MK College but you should check) all the optional modules are taught, it's done on a rolling, annual timetable so you can start whenever the next module starts, and booking exams was much more flexible (although they were payable separately). The revision materials are good and as they don't close for the summer there is always a tutor on hand to ask questions. And it's next to CMK station so it's easy to get to. It's a much more professional environment and as they teach CIMA/ACCA, etc there too the whole set-up is on a completely different level.

I would definitely recommend Kaplan but if you decide on MK College you can always book exams at Kaplan if the MK College dates don't suit you.
