I wondered if anyone can help me with apportioning months...I keep getting answers wrong because I have 1 month more or 1 less in my calculation.... It's the accruals.. The property was rented until 6th August, I calculated 5 months, 6th April to 6th August, the answer was based on 4 months but doesn't state which four months....any hints on how to ensure I use the correct months??? I hope this isn't too brief and makes sense!!!!!

To the - 6th May 1
6th June 2
6th July 3
6th August 4
Remember to watch from 1st of a month, to 31st of a month.

south59/Wongy. I thought it would start counting from 6th of April to end of July. I would not have counted August in it, as that would be the beginning and not a full month. So I would start counting from 6th of April and stop at 31st July to give four months (April, May June and July). August is not a full month so I did not include. I used to get confused too. Hope this helps.5
