Assuming codes have been left as default, T0 is exempt, T9 is outside the scope.0

I guess you are talking about sage T9 is for exempt from Vat transactions and will not appear on the VAT return, and T0 are zero rated transactions and will appear on the VAT return, I think I am right, if anyone would like to let me know, or correct me0

Depending on how you have Sage set up.
T0 is zero rated
T2 is Exempt
T9 is Outside the scope
But you need to check the configuration in Sage to confirm.
Settings>Configuration>Tax Codes5 -
Assuming you are looking at Sage(?), T0 is zero rate and T9 is outside the scope of VAT, T2 is exempt.
