Hi, I have just recently joined AAT through the university partnership route and have been asked to complete an online PCT test. I was just wondering what type of questions are asked on this, are they multiple choice questions, etc?

Hello,
The PCT will test your knowledge and understanding of the basic accounting principles, and is based on the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. It should take approximately 2 hours to complete and there will be a variety of question types.
The units of competence covered are as follows:
• Processing Bookkeeping Transactions
• Control Accounts, Journals and Banking System
• Basic Costing
• Accounting
• Work effectively in Accounting and Finance0
