Job Description

Crucial to the success of the business, is the recruitment of a talented European Finance Manager. This position will take responsibility for all European Accounting and Financial Operations, as well as building key relationships with the Management team. In this role you will take responsibility for:

Ownership of the statutory accounting process for 5 countries across Europe
Consolidation of all European statutory accounts, reporting to the European Head of Finance
Responsibility for relationship management with key stakeholders across the region, including both finance and non-finance colleagues
Corporate Tax reporting for the European region, working closely with the European Tax Accountant
Responsible for managing the relationship with external auditors, being the point of contact for any queries
Ad hoc reporting (eg. JSOX), and project work
Staff management. Leadership of a transactional team and part qualified accountants

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will hold a formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with demonstrable experience of leading a team, in a finance management capacity. Ideally practice trained, candidates should have experience of streamlining accounting processes along with developing and improving reporting.
