LECTURER IN AAT

Salary: £21.64 - £29.12 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Hours: Monday 6-9pm - Ashford campus

Wednesday 6-9pm - Tonbridge campus

Could be covered by one or two people

Fixed term to mid-July 2016

About the Role

We are looking for a Lecturer in AAT, who will work as a member of a team to deliver a co-ordinated, integrated learning programme, ensuring learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success across the Business Administration and Law department, at both the Ashford and Tonbridge sites.

The five units that are being studied are:
  • Basic Costing
  • Control accounts, journals and the banking system.
  • Processing bookkeeping transactions
  • Work effectively in accounting and finance
  • Computerised Accounting
The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above, e.g. PGCE, Certificate in Education, DTLLS, or be currently undertaking or willing to achieve. It is essential to be CCAB qualified, this includes ACCA, ACA, CIMA, as well as being A1 or AAT equivalent qualified. You must hold Level 2, or higher, Literacy and Numeracy certificates.
