Job Description

CRR enquires into apparent departures from reporting requirements, through correspondence and face-to-face meetings with company chairmen and directors. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential to operate effectively in this high profile environment.

CRR Case Director (£125k plus)

As a senior member of the CRR Team, Case Directors decide regulatory responses in respect of reviews of reports and accounts conducted by themselves and those by CRR Case Officers. Case Directors lead technical meetings with companies with minimal oversight.

Key responsibilities are:
  • Providing technical and developmental support to the CRR Team
  • Developing and implementing CRR strategy and policy
  • Delivering technical and other training
  • Overseeing and managing key external and internal relationships
  • Objective setting, performance reviews and leading staff development for a number of CRR Case Officers
  • Providing managerial support to the Director and Technical Director, CRR

CRR Case Officers (£80k plus)


Responsibilities of Case Officers include:
  • Considering reviews of reports and making recommendations on company reports and accounts.
  • Drafting letters and analysing responses from companies.
  • Attending meetings with company representatives.
  • Ad-hoc project and research work, giving presentations.
The Successful Applicant

Successful candidates for the Case Officer role will be fully qualified members of ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS or ICAI or intellectual equivalents and will have detailed knowledge of IFRS and significant experience at Senior Manager in a major firm, or similar.

Potential Case Directors should be similarly qualified with significant management and post qualification experience.
