Part-time Financial Controller (two days per week)

You must be ready to hit the ground running within our fast-paced and dynamic environment and have an enthusiastic approach to day-to-day tasks.

The Role:

• Produce and manage in-house financial reports
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Invoicing clients and paying service invoices
• Calculating and preparing VAT returns
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
• Working closely with the Finance Director
• Preparation of monthly management accounts & sales reports
• Processing invoices through Xero
• Management of payroll
• Process monthly and weekly payments
• Credit control

Experience required:

• 2 years’ experience in Finance
• Experience and a full understanding of Xero
• Excellent Excel skills
• Fully IT literate
• Ability to prioritise tasks so that deadlines are met
• Self-motivated and proactive - able to work on your own
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Experience in small or medium-sized firm preferred

Skills and qualities:

You will require great communication skills and a good verbal and written command of the English language as you will be dealing with multinational companies.

Good aptitude, attention to detail, commitment, patience, good initiative and drive.

You must have good knowledge and practical use of Word, Excel and Outlook. Other knowledge of Microsoft programs is a bonus.

Essential to the role:
