We are looking for Account Consultant who has finance and accounting background or currently studying AAT/ACA/ACCA or part qualified. Ideally suited towards a trainee accountant studying towards their AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications and looking for their first accountant or an existing accountant looking to join an employee focused small accountancy firm where they will enjoy with the support they require to achieve. The successful applicant would be working as part of a small office team with excellent prospects to gain experience and develop in a professional environment. We are looking for a genuinely hardworking, committed person to grow with the company.

The main responsibilities for this position will include;

• Process month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, profit & loss variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, payment runs, credit control and debtor management.
• Responsible for all VAT matters including a production of VAT Returns and reconciliation.
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting & banking.

Require Skills and qualifications

• High competent in financial management including but not to limited to
• Financial reporting
• Cash flow management
• Management information and variance analysis
• PAYE, VAT Return
• Account to final production – Tri-balance, Balance sheet, Tax return.
• Accounting qualification or part qualified.
• Good understanding of technology based system. Microsoft Office, VT, SAGE, and excel are essential.
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
