Not a question but thought I would share this with you. Client's husband just called to say my management accounts were wrong as I had provided for Corporation Tax at 20%. Chancellor announced two days ago it was now 15% so could I redo my calculations please. sigh.

Yes. I thought I would stop filing the VAT returns too as we are now out of the EU.1

I was just about to post something similar to this! I had a client email me today.
"Have my accounts been done yet?"
"No, because you haven't given me your books even after I've nagged you for them for the past 4 months."
"Oh, well I need them done now because I have to give financial information to a supplier."
"Ok, when do you need this information by?"
"Tomorrow."
