Bradley Rhodes are a small, friendly, long established accountancy practice based in Tipton, West Midlands.

We have an immediate position for a Senior Accountant in our accounts production department, and it is essential that the successful candidate should have several years’ proven previous experience within a general accountancy public practice firm. Candidates must be self-motivated, and should be able to work on their own, and also with other staff, where necessary. A working knowledge of Iris and Sage will also be beneficial, although full training will be given to familiarise the recruit with our systems.

The Senior Accountant will carry out a whole range of general accounting duties, including:

• Accounts preparation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships
• Personal and Corporation Tax computations
• Assisting with the job planning and management of the Practice
• Numerous other duties will include VAT, management accounts, R&D claims, and dealing directly with clients
• Reporting directly to the Senior Partner

The successful candidate should be a strong team player, and be capable of communicating well with clients. You will be working predominantly at our offices at Tipton, however, some travel may be required to client sites, on occasion.
