Hatstand, a global financial consultancy, has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Head Office Finance Team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accounts Assistant will oversee both the Sales and Purchase Ledger including coding and raising of sales invoices and credit notes. Duties will include the efficient processing of invoices, the management of age debt collection, ledger reconciliations and the preparation pf payment runs. You will be responsible for ensuring that the ledgers are closed per the month end timetable.
In addition, the Senior Accounts Assistant will take responsibility for dealing with the finances for the offices within the APac region. This will involve working closely with office staff in the region and will include processing payroll and the coding and processing of Purchase invoices and credit notes for APac region. In order to work effectively with the APac region, the role will require some flexibility in working patterns requiring 0700 to 1600 at least twice a week.
Applicants must be AAT qualified. Further study is encouraged and part qualified CIMA/ACCA students will receive study leave and assistance. Applicants must have experience of Sales Ledger management and be confident users of Excel to include pivot tables, look-ups and formulae. Prior experience of QuickBooks is essential. The ability to speak Cantonese would be helpful in dealing with colleagues in the HK office, but is not a prerequisite.

Salary £23,000-£25,000 plus pension, healthcare and 22 days holiday
