What level to start at.

Hi, first comment on this forum, and I sense this may be a stupid question:

In terms of job opportunites as well as the difficulty involved, is there any reason why you couldn't just start at level 4? According to the Kaplan website "it's an alternative to uni."

I've a year or two before I intend to make a career change but I don't want to spend a few months doing courses just for the experience.

Hi @DomOne, welcome to the forum, this might be the best place to start, it lets you know which level will be best depending on the basics that you already know.

Level 4 is an option but you may miss some of the fundamentals starting at level 3 making level 4 much harder and potentially leaving gaps in your knowledge, however, each one of our levels is a qualification in it's own right and will qualify you for roles where level 4 is a requirement.
