Can I prepare Tax return for family member without being Licenced?

My brother is asking whether I can prepare his tax return for him but am I allowed if I am not a Licenced member? I am MAAT and have the knowledge to be able to do it.
If I can do it, am I then able to use this as experience for my Licenced Accountant application, under Personal Income Tax?

    Why not sit with him and "guide him through it" and aid with any areas he isn't sure on ?

    It is Self Assessment after all..... ;)
