Treatment of VAT

One of my client company has year end on 30 June 2016 and the last vat quarter ended on 31 August 2016. (June - August). how do i treat vat in accounts please? Company is on Flate Rate Scheme. Any Comments.

If accounting on a cash basis then work out the FRS VAT for income received in the month of June and include in the accounts. If on invoice basis then same but for invoices raised in June.Regards,
