The Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance department. Alongside two other Finance Assistants, this role is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail the ability to work under pressure, take direction and prioritise workload especially around event time is essential. Given the nature of the work we do, flexibility to work unsociable hours (evenings/weekends) at certain times of the year is necessary.

Responsibilities include;
 Maintenance of purchase ledger and sales ledger
 Processing invoices & obtaining authorisation
 Payment runs and allocation
 Maintain casual labour records
 Paying and processing expenses
 Petty cash reconciliation
 Other AD HOC duties as required
 Provide relevant support on race days and as required

Experience & Skills required;
 Studying AAT  Minimum of 1 year’s accounts experience  Competent user of systems including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Other skills
 Knowledge of Sage would be desirable
