HMRC cannot give me an answer on this after calling 3 times today so i was wondering if anyone knew if you can claim as an expense the annual bni membership fee and monthly venue fee. Would anyone know here please? Thank you.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas

Oh im sorry i thought i explained myself reasonably well in the question hee hee. Can my client claim their BNI annual membership and monthly fee as expenses for Self Assessment. They only attend BNI networking solely for their business.0

They certainly do not. The advisor said no initially and when i asked her if she was sure 3 times, she said 'well its not on the list so I am not 100% sure but I will ask a technical advisor to call you' as they are really really busy.0
