Tax returns for clients

Hi

Im just wondering when you do a tax return for a client do you ask them to sign anything to say everything they have given you is business related etc? If you do get them to sign something do you have a copy of it?

If you ask them to sign a copy, presumably to cover your own back, and don't retain a copy, what is the point in asking the client to sign something?
