Accountancy going digital

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to get some more info on all this "tax/accountancy going digital" talk and what it means for accountants and finance professionals.
I am currently on level 3 AAT, and soon to start level 4. However, with all this talk, I am led to believe that this transition is a threat to current and future accountants and finance professionals.
How is this transition affecting you and/or your business and the accounting world in general?
Many thanks for your feedback.

Appreciate the comments. It's cleared up what I initially thought to be a big hit to accountants, but it turns out that going digital not only helps tax payers, but also accountants themselves when working with their clients.0
