Hi,
I'm currently studying for my AAT level 3 taking my time as I want to achieve a Merit but aiming for a Distinction.
I currently work for a large organisation as an accounts payable clerk, we process something in the region of 50000+ invoices a year.
I have recently had my PDR which was a good insight into how I'm doing as well as areas to improve.
My predicament is that I want to be doing the complete AP function so I can be building experience in reconciling accounts/posting to the GL.
My employer is extremely good to work for and has offered to fund my AAT level 4, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place deciding if to leave for a smaller organisation to gain experience and fund the course myself as I will be bound to a contract for another two years if funded.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Any thoughts would be a great help.
