We are currently looking for someone who has a passion for credit control. Training for the below key tasks will be given to the right candidate upon successful hire so experience is not a must for this roll however, attitude is key. We are looking for a hard working individual who wants to learn and grow within a successful business in the heart of the financial district in London. Ultimately growing their own credit control function and having full ownership of the credit control department.

• Sole credit control responsibility (£1.5 to £2m ledger) with long terms prospects of mentoring a junior credit controller.
• Effective management of relationships with client’s finance departments.
• Daily posting and allocation of all receivables.
• Maintaining a report of expected receivables reported to management.
• Weekly reporting of overdue balances to individual business managers.
• Weekly reporting of credit control KPIs to Managing Director, Financial Controller and Senior Accounts Assistant.
• Raising a batch of manual invoices per week (circa 15)
• Logging invoices on client portals where required (twice a week).
• Working closely with the Business Support team who maintain the contractor invoicing portal.
• Monitor emails to accounts inbox and filing relevant documentation.
• Putting in place strategies to reduce the overdue balances.
• Analysis of client payment terms and recommendations based on credit checks.
• Timely resolution of client queries (low level of queries).
• Ad-hoc assistance in accounts related matters, when required.
