What level before confident for Bookkeeping roles?

Does anyone know or experienced when is the right time to go for a Bookkeeping job?
Is level 2 enough to be confident as a bookkeeper or until the end of level 3 when advanced Bookkeeping is learnt?
I was told once you have completed unit 2 (Bookkeeping Controls) of level 2 then you could go for positions. But I'm not 100% sure I know enough.
Any feedback would be great.
