The work is home based and hours flexible (in conjunction with client delivery timeframes) with the scope to take on as many or few clients as you wish. Working from weekly scanned data, using QuickBooks (desktop version). Work involves (dependent on level of experience):

Accounts production to Trial Balance level.
Management Accounts.
VAT calculation / submission.
Payroll.
Year End.
Self Assessment.

There is great potential for your responsibilities, and therefore income to increase as you progress with Fairmile.

Is Quickbooks strictly necessary? VT / Sage a no go?

I'd have thought a cloud package would have been ideal.

Will the 'bookkeeper' have access to the client, for necessary questions?

The letter of engagement is between?

Who performs the MLR checks?

Will every piece of information be scanned? Statements, mileage logs, VAT invoices, reconciliations, past accounts etc, etc.

Who has the current Quickbooks backup?

The previous accounts and entries have been keyed by someone experienced in accountancy?
