Companies House filing with 3rd party software

This may sound daft but for those submitting accounts to Co Hse via software, did you need to complete a "presenter account" to enable you to do this ?
I normally file using the Companies House website but the ability to submit Abridged accounts isn't yet available so I'm attempting to do this via Capium.
It appears you need to complete and post the form. How long does it take before it's in place ?
