I was just wondering if anyone can confirm how representative the practice paper is to the synoptic level 2 exam.

I don't recall being surprised by any format elements in the exam- I sat it back in May this year. I've done all of Osborne's synoptic exam practices & AAT's own. Hope this helps you somewhat- it's a hard one to answer admittedly.0

I had BPP and Osborne papers but find the sample assessments on study support more comparable. Best of luck0
