Financial Management Apprentice Opportunity Available at Solent NHS Trust
You will work with the financial management team providing support to the finance analysts. The role includes detailed financial analysis and other queries on budget statements, preparation and inputting of journal adjustments into the ledger and raising of invoices.
You will be numerate and computer literate with good knowledge of Excel. Good communication and team working skills are essential requirements of this post. Previous finance experience is desirable, although not essential, together with a keen interest in accounting. A levels in either mathematics, accountancy or a numeracy related subject would also be desirable.
As part of this role you would work towards an apprenticeship in Accountancy level 2, which includes the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 2 certificate, a recognised professional qualification across the financial sector. Combined with the knowledge and experience that would be developed through the role, the successful applicant would on completion of their apprenticeship, have a range of highly transferable skills that will hopefully lead to ongoing opportunities within Solent NHS Trust or wider healthcare finance.
