Audit Senior - Gloucester: varried role with audit, accounts, corp. tax and other projects

My client is an independent, well established, firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Gloucestershire. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of an Audit Senior, to undertake various audit assignments and accounting, corp. tax and other projects. This is a role with great opportunities for progression, the employer is flexible on qualifications and will consider qualified by experience, part-qualified (later stages) in a ICAEW/ACCA or fully qualified ICAEW/ACCA.

Leading a small team and reporting to the relevant manager and/or director the role will involve a mixed and enriched range of duties:
- planning and conducting audit assignments for a diverse range of clients
- preparation of statutory accounts (including FRS102)
- preparation of corporation tax computations and P11ds
- other assignments and projects to include performance management, due diligence and management accounting

As stated, the employer is flexible on qualifications and will consider qualified by experience, part-qualified (later stages) in a ICAEW/ACCA or fully qualified ICAEW/ACCA.
