Hello everyone.
I was just doing some E-learning from AAT/ Bank reconciliation section. I have uploaded a picture as well. It is as following:
Balance per Bank Statement - £1720
Add: outstanding lodgements- £630
Less: unpresented cheques- £840
Balance per cash book - £1930
Now, how is 1720 + 630 - 840 = 1930 ?
I would really appreciate some help here.

minus 1720 add 630 minus 840= minus 1930
The bank balance is Credit 1930 as it is overdrawn.0 -
Thank you so much, Alison.
It all makes sense now.
I wish you all the best0
