Discussion about different types of companies

Hi fellow members

Second post so hoping for a good discussion with fellow AAT students and qualified members. I hope you're all doing well as summer is coming to an end.

I wanted to ask people what has been their experience with different types of companies within the accounting and finance sector.

Do different companies differ in the way of objectives? Is the company culture different? Are other companies more supportive in regards of learning than others? What's your experience with other employees and managers?

What I would like to know is what your experiences are in different types of companies within accounting and finance. I am currently seeking a job and have only had one job as a finance administrator and was wondering what different types of companies are like.

Any response would be greatly appreciated and I hope to get a good conversation going.
