Child benefit

This question popped up on my exam about child benefit and having 2 children. Can you claim child benefit for two children on one tax payer? Or would it be one child allowed for the child benefit per tax payer?
Also what about work place childcare, if the company pays for children to be looked after, is the child benefit deducted from the cost to the business?
Thanks,
Simon
