35 hours per week, based in London WC2

The RSA is in need of an experienced and proactive Finance Officer with a track-record of implementing changes to current systems and procedures.

The focus of this role is to process and accurately record expenditure of the RSA group in the financial accounts in a timely way.  This will include managing all aspects of the purchase ledgers as well as reconciling to financial records in other database systems.
The successful candidate will have practical experience of managing a purchase ledger and cash book independently (ideally in the charity sector in a partial-recovery VAT environment), strong Excel and communication skills, some formal book-keeping training (including accrual accounting and financial principles) and have an interest in the work of the RSA.
