BOOKKEEPER with career progression opportunities

Part Time or Full Time

We have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our progressive firm and friendly team as a bookkeeper in our Business Support Department.

The right candidate will have experience of computerised bookkeeping systems and be fully IT literate. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people is a fundamental part of this role as is the ability to work flexibly as the succesful candidate will be required to work with a number of different clients and their individual bookkeeping systems. A willingness and aptitude to learn new software and processes is essential and training can be provided where required.

The position can be Part Time as part of a job share arrangement with the agreed hours to be worked flexibly around client requirements and with the option to increase hours during busy periods. Although the hours are flexible, the right candidate must be able to undertake a full 7 hour day of work at clients premises as required. The position is based in our Bideford Office, although travel to clients premises is essential so a full driving license and own vehicle is required.

We also have the option for the position to be Full Time for the right candidate, either as a full time bookkeeper or working in our bookkeeping department part time with a view to progressing towards assisting our accounts preparation team and training can be provided for this where required.

The salary for this role will be commensurate with experience.
