I'd soon like to give it a try and would like to know if you've got a first hand experience using either Xero or QuickBooks. Thanks.

Xero, 100%, easier to use and visually looks better, i find clients way prefer it as well, we have been transferring clients from quickbooks to Xero0

Both are unique and best at their places. There are lots of features you can get through using QuickBooks but can't in Xero. The same Xero also give you some best features that you don't get in QuickBooks. So it all depends on your need. For more info, you can go to this link:

Depends on the client, eg someone who likes phone app's may prefer xero and all their add on's and app ecosystem, someone with stock/inventory control issues may prefer quickbooks, a limited company freelancer may prefer free agent, a sole trader may prefer excel0

"Which is better, Xero or QuickBooks?"
That's a little bit like asking "Which is nicer to eat, an apple or an orange?"
Which is "better" really depends on what exactly it is you're wanting to get from it, and how you measure that. xDAccounts Executive, ғɪᴀʙ ᴍᴀᴀᴛ
