This is the impression that I am getting. I am currently studying AAT L3 Book-Keeping, let alone the higher qualifications! My thinking for doing Accountancy/Book-Keeping was that not that many people would chose to go in to Accountancy/Book-Keeping and that there will always be a demand for Accountants/Book-Keepers (as well as my good numerical ability and my wish to always have studied it), but it seems that there a lot more qualified Accountants/Book-Keepers out there than I had previously thought, certainly far far more than jobs currently available. And your original post was 5 years ago!0
