Located in Brighton, East Sussex our company requires an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide an efficient and accurate accounts service across the organisation which currently covers locations in the UK, France and Germany. Position will be for 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on an initial twelve month assignment but may be extended beyond this. Role would be ideally suited to someone who has passed their AAT intermediate level (or equivalent) and looking to progress in the accounting world.

Duties and responsibilities to include:
 Responsibility for all aspects of purchase ledger functions
 Sales order processing, reporting and invoicing
 Bank postings and reconciliations
 Company credit card posting and reconciliations
 Staff expense claims handling

Key skills and experiences to include:
 Proven bookkeeping and ledger reconciliation skills
 Proficient in Excel and computerised accounting systems
 Experience of multi company, multi currency environments
 Good communicator and able to work under own initiative
 Have a flexible ‘can do’ approach
