Salary Scale SO1/SO2 i.e. £25,951 - £30,153 per annum (Subject to Job Evaluation)


Located in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated person to join our Accountancy Team. This post will provide a challenging development opportunity, with an opportunity to widen your range of skills and experience.

You will be expected to contribute towards providing a comprehensive, high quality finance service covering the specific areas of capital accounting, leasing, treasury management, risk management and internal audit contract monitoring. Knowledge or experience in this area would be an advantage, however, it is not essential, as full training will be given. Applicants should be AAT qualified or equivalent with minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience preferably with a District Council.

You must also have:

• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to analyse and interpret financial reports
• A working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including excel spreadsheets
• A flexible approach to working hours
