Hi,
Would someone be able to help me with a question on car benefits please?
It is on the second personal tax exam on the AAT website and is the second question.
It asks to work out the benefit on a car provided for the whole year to an employee. The list price is £79,000, the employee paid £6,000 and the scale charge is 37%. The answer given is £27,380 which is 37% on £74,000 but I’m not sure how they got to £74,000.
