Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping (Level 2) Books/Self Study

Hi All,

Just wondering whether anyone could give me advice as to self studying level 2.
I know that I have to become member of AAT, I'm more worried about the booking of the exams.
How do I get round to it? Do I just find a closest examination centre and book it through them?

Also I'm unsure about the books - the syllabus on AAT website consist of:
Bookkeeping transactions
Bookkeeping controls
So will these two will be enough?

Will definitely get revision books as well.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you,
Emily

Hi, I am also self studying and I am currently taking exams, pass the transactions and software
You can book exams whenever as long as they accept external students, some providers don't
There are 5 exams and 5 units to study for that level transactions, controls, costing, accounting software, work effectively in finance
I don't know about Kaplan, I guess they're good. I used Osborne, they are also cheaper by the look of it
    Hope this helps
