Study Notes after passing?

Everyone I've asked so far has binned their notes soon after completing studies but seems such a waste. Has no one needed to refer back to something they have studied and forgotten? Or are there much better resources to use as reference? I was tempted to feed it through the scanner at work but there are 7 large ring binders worth for AAT Level 2,3 and 4

I have kept it all however it has gone into the loft. I have kept my level 4 BPP books in the study as i am currently studying ACA so they may come in useful for reference.

I did for a year or two but the manuals and notes become quickly obsolete with changes in Financial acts (I work in tax so it may be different for those working in management accounting).0
